James returns to Vicious with a cracking house vocal, covering the Samantha Mumbo R&B tune of the same name which was released back in 2001.

Opening with the VIP mix, James drops a chunky house drum bed, adding the sexy vocal before bass and piano’s keep things moving. A slinky traditional house music style sets the vibe for this release. To add to James’ VIP mix he also delivers a smoother, deeper Poolside mix, which is more focused on the vocal and backed with beautiful keyboard pads.

The remixes are from none other than Husky and Holmes John, both giving us different takes and both still utilising the sexy vocal.

Husky brings his trademark soulful house style with a classy, shuffling groove burbling below the superb vocal. Chunky beats lead to the rolling deep bassline which builds into the vocal. Filtering chords only add to the whole vibe from there in what is a super classy mix from the Traxsource favourite.

Holmes John tips the whole track on it’s head, dropping a superb energetic bassline driven tech house, monster of a mix. The great energy driven by the bass gives this mix a tougher yet still funky edge, sure to have your head nodding and adds snippets of the vocal which get chopped up over the top before dropping into the full chorus moments… Then it’s back to that hooky bassline again. I could imagine the likes of Patrick Topping playing this at peak time and it absolutely smashing the floor.

A quality release from Mr Alexandr that is sure to see him finish of 2021 and head into 2022 in fine style!
