DJ Gregory was one of the first pioneering French producer to sink his teeth firmly into the little known world of House music. From Paris, to New York, London and Tokyo, he travelled to hone his production and DJ techniques and absorbing everything and anything House.
After spinning at the most fashionable joints in Europe alongside such greats as Frankie Knuckles, Tedd Patterson and Phil Asher, he decided to found his own label, named Faya Combo, and it was the success of one of the first releases on the label "Damelo" that lead to Gregory become a serious name on the club circuit.
Faya Combo was set up to respond to Gregory's need of independence and originality, and he fulfilled both of these ambitions with genre defying tracks such as "Don't Know Malendro" "Tropical Soundclash" "The Joburg Theme" and the hauntingly beautiful "Elle
Faya Combo Sessions is a collection of new and freshly remixed tracks, from the inspirational and charismatic DJ Gregory. These productions and remixes are emphatically Gregory's rolling, tribal beats, deep, dark drums and African-inspired percussion.
