Following a series of EPs featuring Cee ElAssaad, Dazzle Drums and Kiko Navarro, Afroterraneo presents 'The Afroterraneo Remix Project', a full length album of reworks celebrating the music of Brazilian percussionist, vocalist and composer Dudu Tucci.
Featuring remixes and edits by DJ Pippi & Willie Graff, Blair French, Peter Croce, Pepe Link, Pontch, be.lanuit, Riccio, Jazz N Palms and Rafael Moraes, 'The Afroterraneo Remix Project' takes in highlights from Dudu Tucci's incredible, prolific and somewhat slept-on back catalogue, breathing new life into his timeless Brazilian grooves for a brand new audience to enjoy.
Eduardo Tucci da Silva, aka Dudu Tucci, started playing drums as a child his hometown of São Paulo. Having joined the local symphony orchestra in 1978 and collaborated with Brazilian legend Arrigo Barnabé soon after, Tucci was invited to perform at JazzFest in Berlin, and has resided there ever since.
