Andy Bach returns to Piston Recordings, with the fantastic Join Hands EP. We last saw Andy here back in August 2020 with Feel the Groove as well as appearing on some of our compilations. Andy started to showcase his skills back in 1995 when he started to DJ in different clubs around Europe. He developed a partnership with producer Manou De Jean and together they created a unique music symbiosis. Several releases followed gaining international acclaim from top jocks and fellow artists. The following years has seen Andy release music on a plethora of labels, building quite an impressive back catalogue.

The release opens with the superb dancefloor friendly, Join Hands. Fired up and discofied for the floors, the funky bassline stands out alongside classic disco guitar loops and cool vocals. Fresh piano chords add flair making this an absolute must have. House Music is up next, with a delicate, percussion led intro. Strong chords fade up, locking us into the zone as tight drums work the rhythm. Clubby vocal shots are scattered throughout as musical elements come through. A contemporary masterclass in creating that classic house vibe, top-notch. I’m Here rounds out the release, ramping up the funk factor to 11 on a scale of 10! Pure, dancefloor driven house music with garage influences ensues, with added blippy plucks and stabbing piano chords. Perfect fodder for the modern floors, not to be missed.
