Hailing from Utrecht (Netherlands), Kasper Koman has quickly become a favourite amongst artists and fans alike with his unique production style and undeniable musical aesthetic, earning him high-profile releases on John Digweed's 'Bedrock', Guy J's 'Lost and Found', Guy Mantzur's 'Plattenbank' and the mighty 'Anjunadeep', Above and Beyond's deeper imprint. After an initial appearance on 'Juicebox Music' with a remix of Monojoke's "Cold City" in 2018, he returned to the imprint in mid-2020 to gracefully present one of his biggest releases till date - a milestone 2-track EP featuring "In Circles" and "Wilder". We're excited to celebrate our 51st release on Juicebox Music with new interpretations of Kasper Koman's "Wilder" by two label debutants - Alex O'Rion and Doppel.

Fellow Dutchman and Nijkerk resident, Alex O'Rion is no stranger to the industry with over a decade long experience of music production under his belt. Considered as one of the leading artists of today's progressive house space, his work can be found on highly influential imprints like Hernan Cattaneo's 'Sudbeat', Guy J's 'Lost and Found', Cid Inc's 'Replug' + GMJ and Matter's 'meanwhile' to name a few. For his remix of Kasper Koman's "Wilder", Alex O'Rion injects his lush, warm and groovy trademark sound around the distorted piano chords and bubbly arp of the original, giving it a more driving and atmospheric vibe.

Canberra (Australia) based Doppel, better known as Andy McMillan to his friends and family, has become one of his country's most revered acts, thanks to his focused craft. Doppel carries his nature-inspired sonic trait into his productions, resulting in an organic, rich and deep character as a whole whilst exploring the complexities of pushing new techniques to infuse more intricate and detailed textures. His music has found shelter on Einmusik's "Einmusika" as well as homegrown imprints like Zigmon's 'Bassic Records' and Jesse Kuch's 'Open Records', with his long awaited debut LP 'Eucalyptograph' out on the latter earlier this year. Doppel's rendition of Kasper Koman's "Wilder" stretches far beyond the expected creativeness while still retaining the most memorable parts of the original.
