Making his debut on Danny Howard’s Nothing Else Matters imprint this summer is New York based DJ and producer, Baltra with brand new single, ‘I Want You (I Need You)’.

Having spent the last decade honing a sound that’s rich on romance and melancholy, Baltra has always had a restless approach and attention to detail that’s set him apart from many of his peers, often using his own voice on records, rather than relying on samples, and exploring both higher and lower tempos. Following on from the initial release of ‘I Want You (I Need You), we welcome legendary DJ and producer Darius Syrossian to the label who delivers an exciting breaks-inspired remix of Baltra’s debut single.

Delivering his own unique twist on the record; Darius’ remix takes the hypnotic vocals from the original and infuses them with weighty drum patterns, mesmerising effects, tight hats, a purring baseline, distorted synths and robust snares; resulting in a production that is perfect both for the streaming market and the dancefloor alike.
