The group was founded in 1985 as the cultural movement of house music began to make itspermanent influence inside the underground clubs in Chicago and New York. The group was credited for many firsts, one being the first diverse House Music band of Black, White and Latino musicians, vocalists, and DJs to tour worldwide.
