Anthony Beckford has been musically educating himself, hunting down American soul imports and finding a deep respect
for great vocalists like Marvin Gaye ,Luther Vandross, George Benson Teddy Pendegrass and many more.

His family roots were part Irish and Jamaican and those influences ensured that his musical taste would continue to become wide and varied.
In an effort to emulate his vocal idols, he began to find his own voice and style early in his teens which led to live performances with of a variety local bands focusing mainly on soul/funk&jazz.

Unlike rock music, soul and dance music saw the rise of polished musical production and Beckford immediately became interested in recording techniques.
Then as technology moved forward he found the access to self production which became easier and this emerging ability led to him refining his technique by producing and mentoring other
local Hip Hop & R&B artists.

Musical trends come and go and as the House dance scene of recent years became more minimal, producers have sought out deep soul vocal artist to complement their tracks.
After putting a few Vocal stems onto the Internet, remixers quickly found Beckford and they wanted his sound on their tracks. This led to two years playing live at venues across the world and he is now a firm favourite of remix artist who are eager to have a true genuine soulful vocal like the one that Beckford possesses. In 2012 he has become a much sought after talent.

His understanding of the soulful "feel" means he is able to adapt to a wide range of styles and has now found his unique voice and after what seems like a lifetime of musical education
and helping many others along the way to feed from the "soul table", Beckford is now ready to cut a piece of the pie for himself..
