Xakosa is a new project consisting of Matthew Bandy, Toni Economides and Rick Collins, who drop some soulful vocal work and extremely tight production in the form of ‘Heaven Only Knows’, an infectious deep house record that combines sexy yet dark, soulful yet techy aesthetics, skilfully combined with rich, bluesy vocals, swinging hi-hats and 808 toms. Mowgli provides us with a deeper shade of house in the shape of his remix, oozing with brilliantly crafted synth work, creating a slick underground vibe.
