This is the joint venture of Under My Skin's producer/DJ Nikos and LA's very own DJ Lamech. The result is three very distinct tracks ranging from the joyful praise of "Jubilee Funk" to the bluesy vibe of "Nu Spirituals", and tecky overtones of "Your Love is True". This record is a tribute to the Negro Spirituals as a timeless art form that is today as relevant as it's ever been. Our challenge was to convey that same Spirit of hope, humanity and deep faith through a musical format like house music. Haskel Jackson and O'Nita Hutton on vocals deliver with the level of intensity needed and Donald Hayes once again puts a little bit of magic on soprano sax. This is a release that digs deep and brings a powerful message to the dance scene.
