It's with great pleasure that we at Phunky Rabbit Records present Placidic Dream ft Ronnie Canada-I've Been Betrayed. The original track is by Phunky's own Placidic Dream. This is a track full of lush synths and a really cool vibe that just gets you moving from the start. The vocals are provided by the legendary Ronnie Canada in his own distinctive soulful style. Ronnie has worked with just about everyone in the Soul/Motown industry and has charted many times with various house outfits. Here he does not disappoint, giving us a really strong vocal. On the remixes, first up we have BB White. This is a driving house track with his own grooving beats leading the track all the way. He provides a massive trumpet part which I just know you will all enjoy. Next, we have co-owner of the label - Prodigal Sons Remix. If this one does not get you out of your seat dancing, then you have serious problems. It is a real banger. Chris Angel provides sax that squeals at you in a really cool way. DJ Prince is next, and here you can feel his own very clever style where he uses hooks to keep you interested. He will be involved a lot more with the label in the future. Last but by no means least, we have a really laid back deep house mix by newcomers Soul Fortune. This one really will take you off into the sunset.
