Sgt Slick, now rated as the 6th largest NuDisco artist on Beatport, returns to Vicious to follow up his acclaimed club cut “The Night the Lights Went Out” and his massive and still unstoppable cross over cover of ABBA’s “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!” (also now rated as the 4th biggest NuDisco release on Beatport).

Cyndi Lauper’s hit single “All Through the Night”, (itself a slow pop ballad cover of an original folk track by Jules Shear), gets revived with the Sarge bringing his up, energetic production skills to the fore and reworking the vocal hooks from this classic tune for 2021.

Pumping beats and crisp production drive this new version, the original melodies and chords now providing an uplifting backing to the super hooky vocals, creating a vibe that provides hands in the air, sing-a-long moments that are a long way from the melancholy ballad some may remember from Miss Lauper back in 1983.
