Worst Records opens up a new chapter of its musical odyssey with WORST LTD, the brand new sublabel dedicated to intriguing ambient explorations and abstract experiments. For this first opus, Christian Coiffure is back among us with a deeply conscious concept-album. Born from the idea that mankind is the antithesis of harmony in its relation to nature, and considering that other lifeforms manage to create a balance between them and their environment that we often struggle to fully understand, Christian Coiffure pays homage to the organic beauty of these biotopes. « Freefloat » is a sonic continuum where electronics and field recording melt in each other, without any real interruption, creating almost autonomous structures and symbiosis that siphonophores, bee hives and ant citadels can incarnate as well. Conceived as a whole, this first album of the new catalogue isn't limited by the illusion of an accomplished perfection and instead puts an awakening light on the nobility of happy accidents and the invisible harmony that surrounds us instead.
