After selling out every vinyl record in their catalog, US based underground house imprint, 12 Inches Deep, makes their first appearance since 2019, this time to deliver a digital reissue of their inaugural release from 2016, 'West Coast Dance Traxx. Vol. 1.' Kicking off the relaunch, Parisian producer, Kool Vibe (KV Records, My Love Is Underground), keeps the torch of classic house lit, with 'Make It Groove,' a bouncy, lighthearted A1, with an obvious Jerzzey vibe, aggressive drums, and a matching bottom end. Staying true to the name, label founders, An Expresso, and Urbanite, come through with their respective vinyl debut pieces, 'Touch Me,' a scene of created from some of the lushest chords to ever be arranged over a TR8, and 'Dreaming Awake,' another track clearly influenced by the book of modern deep, and one that also happens to be the very first song Urbanite ever released as a producer, straight to vinyl. To finish things off, one more dime piece from An Expresso, 'facemelt,' a track meant to heavily contrast the previous three, and one that rudely crosses into acid techno territory, with little regard for the limitations of your typical genre snob. Coming for the masses, 'West Coast Dance Traxx Vol. 1' lands on all major digital platforms, May 2021.
