Reaching out across the globe once more and following up on a hugely successful series for the label, Darin Epsilon curates another selection of the finest Melodic tracks as he embarks on "Perspectives Around the World, Vol. 4". This time around, the 6 ingenious artists featured (in alphabetical order) are Blackloud, Chook, Far Distance and Stefan Addo, Helsloot, and Michael Burns.

Blackloud is one-half the electronic duo NONDO and our first artist ever from the Czech Republic. Influenced by a range of genres "from contemporary classical music to post rock", he has overseen a career that has seen music signed to such luminary imprints as Diynamic, Radiant, Beatfreak, and Dear Deer. The Prague-based artist opens the compilation with "I Swear Am OK". Characterized by a pounding beat and light percussive hi-hats, a hypnotic piano sequence filters into the foreground, cleverly changing key to add tension. A soft vocal phrase makes an intermittent appearance in haunting fashion as a rolling bassline groove supplies dancefloor character.

Master of a range of genres and music styles, Luxembourg artist Chook is a regular on Mango Alley with his distinctive compositions full of musical sensibility. ICONYC, Lauter, and his own Full Force Recordings have played host to a half-century of credits that now see a Perspectives Digital debut in the shape of "Blockchain". Redolent in dynamic groove and searing analog lead, Chook displays a wide-ranging production skillset to create a dark and brooding track that evolves effortlessly. Hitting its stride in the second half, a body-shaking groove creates a seething club-friendly monster that showcases talent in abundance.

Barcelona based duo Far Distance have impressed audiences in the past couple of years with plays from Solomun, Carl Cox, and Nora En Pure, amongst many others. Similarly, Turkish producer Stefan Addo has been a rising force in the underground scene with his impressive DJ credentials combined with music featured on the likes of Sprout, Dear Deer, and Kitchen Recordings. Their collaboration titled "Worm Hole" is a driving, vibrant affair that glistens with a smooth melodic sequence atop a heavy kick and rapid-fire percussion. Ethereal and emotive pads make their presence felt at the breakdown before new melodic layers enter the fray in the second half to impressive effect, creating a mature and powerful track.

Last appearing on Perspectives Digital with his "How to Escape Yourself EP" in 2011, UK producer Michael Burns makes his triumphant return to the label with a massive remix of "See Me Fall". This much-loved anthem was originally released in 2004 by Deep Records in Amsterdam. Part of the new generation of rising Dutch producers, Helsloot reworks and updates Michael's classic track into a sparkling Melodic House gem. Having already worked with Tinlicker for the likes of Astalwerks and Armada, "Because You Move Me" for the latter earned the duo over 22 million streams. Powered by a growling bass and driving beat, an earworm motif soon makes its presence felt while vocal cuts ripple over the melodic layers in counterpoint poignancy. Full of emotion and spine-tingling dynamism, the track is an immaculately crafted affair that rightfully deserves its place in Darin Epsilon's esteemed label catalog.
