Thunderbolt was designed to be a hybrid between everything club and everything live. Jazz, Funk and Blues have all been central influential entities for the progression of dance music. This track which produced with this fact in mind. We wanted to pay homage to these gargantuan influences, while also providing a 21st century dance floor anthem. The amalgamation of the two worked better than we could have ever envisioned.

BLACK/WHITE is currently carving out his own unique path within the world of electronic music. Born in Essex during the 90s, his immediate exposure to music came from the likes of rave pioneers, The Prodigy. Thus, his love for dance music was solidified approximately a decade before he was ever able to attend the iconic clubs associated with the UK rave scene. However, despite his passion for music being engraved into him from a young age, BLACK/WHITE’s first experience with performing only manifested during his time at University in London, wherein he began DJing at student lead club nights at the likes of Ministry of Sound. This only developed further during the course of his education, including DJ sets at the likes of Zouk in Singapore, during his year studying abroad. Over the past four years, BLACK/WHITE has intensively pursued both music and science, earning his PhD in neuroscience in 2019. During this period, he has utilised creativity from scientific experiences, not dissimilar to Max Cooper, to develop a diverse and unique production style. This is further evidenced by the range of music he puts out. Since completing his graduate studies and now taking up a fully-fledged neuroscience research position in the United States, he has been more creative than ever before. This is evidenced by recent releases on the likes of Nervous Records, Whore House Music, King Street Sounds, and Purple Tea Records, all of which showcase BLACK/WHITE’s diversity as a music producer.



Kane Lane is a DJ/Producer from London, UK. It was a look back at his childhood that awakened his true passion for Soulful, Emotive Disco. This driving passion for the genre pushed him to begin the journey with his Kane Lane brand. For the past few years, Kane has focused heavily on his music and devoted countless hours in and out of the studio. Kane has forged a unique sound, clever percussion runs underneath soul-driven, disco melodies. This time and effort has paid off with several notable releases including a release on long-running US label ‘Nervous Records’ this year. This release (with US based artist ‘Black/White’) entered several charts including a top 20 Traxsource listing. Kane is no stranger to the booth with appearances at some of London’s most coveted venues including 93 Feet East and E1 Spaces alongside La Fiesta and Upper Vibe. He has played alongside some of the UKs most in-demand talent including Secondcity, Danny Gould, and GW Harrison. Kane has also secured a residency for the ever-popular ‘Dog and Whistle’ venue in Hertford. Kane is relatively new to the scene but hasn’t wasted any time in making his mark, his obvious talent in the studio has quickly converted to the booth. With a busy release schedule it won’t be long before Kane Lane is listing alongside his peers - with his raw talent and unrelenting work ethic this is a position he rightly deserves.
