This track is a musical journey with 2 different mixes to choose from. David's mix is a more underground NY vibe while Michel Cleis's mix is an amazing musical trip.
The esteemed Michel Cleis has come a long way since his super- distinctive smash hit "La Mezcla" was released back in 2009. "I feel like I did it twelve years ago! Not more, not less," says Michel of the era-defining house record. "It was special and something new at that moment but now I have this impression that it's behind me. From 'La Mezcla' and 'Mir A Nero' and his 2015 summer smash 'Marvinello' to his new music with Luciano as Los Niños and this collaboration with David Morales on DIRIDIM Music, his sound is always super-distinctive and ready for the floor. Michel's sound is soulful, percussive and always in flight: it's no wonder his music is supported by tastemakers from Pete Tong and Gilles Peterson to Carl Cox or DJ Koze to name a few.
David Morales is a globally revered American DJ, a Grammy award-winning record producer, a songwriter, and a businessman. He has produced and remixed over 500 records for an all-star roster of multi-platinum artists, including Mariah Carey, U2, Michael Jackson, Aretha Franklin, Madonna, and Whitney Houston. The global phenomenon and penetration of dance music into Top 40 radio would not have been possible without him. Not one to rest on his laurels, in the midst of this non-stop tour schedule, Morales launched DIRIDIM Records in 2018. With this label, Morales is signing and developing artists—and naturally, releasing some of his own productions. DIRIDIM celebrates all dance music, from the classic sounds Morales is known for to straight up electronic. His unquenchable thirst for newness is precisely why this native New Yorker remains relevant. "It is about keeping an open mind," Morales explains.
