Belgian Producer & DJ David Body debuts on Endless Music with the EP 'Oxymore' featuring three original and stylistically diverse compositions. The opening track 'Almaty' is a wonderful mixture of elements from various genres. The hats and claps remind of lo-fi house, beautiful synthesizer lines go along with 90s rave music aesthetic and the low end is carried by a strong bass groove seemingly extracted from a techno or trance banger.
The second track 'Quadricep' goes a more experimental route, introducing chopped up breakbeats and dreamy textures with vocal lines and lead synthesizers having a musical dialogue on top. The last track 'Split Lunge' is surprisingly uplifting and gives the EP an energetic finish by introducing a lighthearted mood in the style of disco house/synthwave. The well crafted EP is a delicacy for connoisseurs of sonic vibes that were translated from the past to mingle with 21st century listeners and dancers.
