Drums galore kick off "Take A Chance" -- rattling along in a fast funky frenzy, as choppy guitar and horns burn into the tune once it takes off. But best of all are the vocals -- sung by Ria Curry with a great deep soul sort of groove -- as fast as the rhythms, but always on the money! "Main Man" is equally tight and equally great -- a quick-romping little number that also has a bit of a stop/start pattern to some of the instrumentation -- changing things up nicely with incredibly sharp-edged playing throughout!
