The First Revolution of the Robots, creates the first conflict against humans: robots now flood the dance floors with their tin bodies, moving and shaking under the influence of electronic sounds. This war will not be with weapons, this will be a dance battle in a dance floor, humans versus robots; machines that know how to move, that shake their asses but don´t sweat; post apocalyptical mechanisms trained to dance. “Aparato” (Machine) is the first collaboration between these two artists, initially linked by projects that looked to boost Colombian Music in the middle of the world pandemic, and that have found time as well to join their ideas about music, and give answer to some essential questions for humanity, like how dancing will be in year 3000. Number 1, the “Original Mix” is a mix of breaks, synthetic sounds and singing robots, that along an organic and human touch given by the chords and the bassline, create a track to dance slowly or to listen in a delectable state of relax. No. 2, the “Future Disco Mix”, as its name suggests, is a version made for the dance floor. Nu-disco futuristic sounds, synthetic elements from the 70s Disco Music, mixed with these singing machines, that the artists imagine dancing at unison, along human beings in the dance floors of the future.
