The Great Simoon

D.J. MacIntyre returns with three remixes and an updated version of "The Great Simoon," a whirling burner of a track which, like its namesake, rises like scorching wind, leaving the landscape singed in its wake. The track is named for the strange and bizarre Santa Barbara myth which legend has it was the hottest day on earth when an unbearably hot wind descended quickly on the area, leaving a path of destruction in its wake before being gone in less than an afternoon. D.J. MacIntyre reworked the original for this release naming the new mix after the fateful day in question, 'June 17, 1859.'  Uruguay's Alex Efe takes the track in an organic, percussive direction in his first appearance on the SLC-6 Music label.  Argentina's Francisco Castro and Derk delivered a pulsing nocturnal remix sure to get a dancefloor grooving. Finally, Paraguay's Casper Keys caps off the release with a progressive breaks gem.
