The hotly-anticipated second release from SupaEarth Records comes in the form of 'International', a single by Anglo-French Artist & Producer - Electric Diplomat aka Tim Vine. Tim is a world- class musician who has played, recorded and toured with a mega-list of artists, incl Groove Armada, Moloko, Incognito, Simply Red, The Noisettes, Malcolm McLaren, Baby D, Terence Trent d'Arby & more.
Described by Bluey Maunick (Incognito) as 'the Space Cowboy of the synthesizer world', Tim got his first big break playing with Blue Note Records' US3, which is when he met and first worked with respected veteran NYC rapper Lord KCB (Leroy Hutson, US3, Lamont Booker, Tom Browne, George Morel) who features on this release, the two of them forming an unstoppable combo over many beers on tour together.
There is a pure beauty about this analog heavy 105 BPM jam, with some rather classy Rhodes parts reminiscent of Michael McDonald - 'Keep Forgetting'/Regulate, bouncing moog bassline, tasty funk guitars, sexy latin-esque piano fills and memorable classic style Vocoder hook from Vine on the chorus.
