American singer Monique Bingham is one of the biggest names in house, having worked with South African heroes Black Coffee and Louie Vega.
This is her third collaboration with STUDIO APARTMENT, having previously worked with them on 'Flight' in 2004 and 'Found Him' in 2007. Sun Ra Was Right' is no exception. Deep and massive, her beautiful, solemn and expansive voice resonates beautifully over an influential track that invades the space in the blink of an eye, making it a song that fully demonstrates the current charm of STUDIO APARTMENT.

Also included on the album is a remix by MAUMA, a producer unit that has been involved in several of the tracks on '2020~' but is still a mystery. This remix is a major revamp of the original, with a more ethnic, techy and industrial feel. The result is an immersive, holistic experience that takes over the space from a different angle than the original. Both the original and the remixes are highly versatile for the floor, and are also useful for listening, making this a must-listen. MAUMA will be back in full swing in 2021, so keep your eyes peeled.
