With the door closed on 2020, we look optimistically towards the new year and hope that we will all be in a much more positive space as the months' progress.

2021 for us starts with a reflection on our body of work for 2020 which saw 9 offerings from FOMP introducing new and upcoming production talents from South Africa alongside productions from established artists within the African Electronic music genres.

We introduced new renditions of songs from Luka, Jackie Queens, Ruby Gold, Request M, Lizwi and Sio and saw the likes of Enoo Napa, Kaargo, Pablo Martinez and Deep Naratives on remix duties.

Originals tracks came in from Jackson Brainwave, D.O.A, Dj Tomer & Ricardo, Ma-B and Hypersoul X and we welcomed first appearances from Dikla Hackmon, Sabrina, DeepQuestic and RaraTaxi Queen.

With airplay features, playlists and tastemaker support from the likes of artists and brands such as Black Coffee, BBCRadio1 and Defected Radio, we continue to push the scene and sound of this niche within the House Music spectrum and Afro House community.
