We are ready to start 2021 with a clean slate and a bunch of optimism. And we thought there is no better time welcome back Alar than now. The first track “Stockholm” is a collaboration with his close friend and fellow artist Nobe, and it hits the sweet spot right from the get go. In a time were traveling is very restricted, Alar and Nobe invite the listeners to take a journey on their own. Through pulsating synths, enchanting grooves and funky vocal elements the tune is bursting with optimism and warmth, leading us into a wonderland of melodies and percussions.

From this we move over to the track “Shiraz”, a track Alar made in collaboration with another rising star, JAZZERIMO. The two of them create a soundscape of grooves and lust. Strong synths melt together in a spiral towards string elements, all combined creating a fairy tail atmosphere where a beautiful vocal takes the lead.

It wouldn’t be a complete release without a smashing remix to accompany it, and who better to work their magic on these tracks than label boss himself, Marcus Meinhardt. His remix of “Stockholm” is a frenzy of delicate synths and an addictive groove surrounded by soft percussions. True to the original elements but with the intense craftiness that Marcus is so known and loved for, it is the perfect end to a sweet journey. What a way to start a new and uplifting year.
