Gostwork
Burn the System EP
We go East this time to the frozen pre winter landscapes of the Motherland and we welcome Gostwork again after his shared release with our long time agent Confluence.
He delivers four cuts of solid, dry, warehouse focused techno starting with Chemical Element: brokenbeats, sibilantdronesandwiselydistortedelements.
Death Ritual f ollows, analogue kicks growing from the low range area, micro repetitive sequences and hypnotic vocal snippets collide creating a pulsating groove, ideal as a mixing tool.
On the flip side Overload brings the old school big room vibe with an acid flavoured bass line, repetition again in the sequenced elements and a hoover like sound appearing randomly on the timeline.
Release closes with Not Yet Time , speeding up the tempo, using basically the same sound recipes as in the previous ones: dry kicks, one cycle synth lines and percussive details.
This one will hibernate in perfect conditions in your collection until being reproduced properly on a big sound system. In the meanwhile enjoy it in your private area.
On the graphic side Nuria Estuñiga delivers the artwork with her second piece for us.
We will sweat together again, be patient, stay safe and dream about better times to come.
