Hady Tarek returns to Bonzai Progressive with the superb two tracker titled, First Impact. We last saw Hady on remix duties for Matan Caspi’s Fragile Sunrise in 2016 and, he’s also made a few appearances on Bonzai Basik Beats radio. Having launched his DJ career in 2002, Hady Tarek went on to host his own parties amongst friend, this led to various gigs at top events as well as radio guest spots. Several residencies followed and his name became well known, securing him even more gigs. In 2011 he released his first track, and since then he’s been churning out quality cuts at every turn. This one marks his third full release with us and we’re delighted to see him back once again.

First Impact intros with a distinct kick drum which draws attention. Subtle hats fade up before a flurry of percussions take over, generating a smooth rhythm. A deep, probing bass comes through, adding extra spice to the organic, analogue flavour. Rich musical elements come in, twisting and morphing into surreal sequences. On the break, a more melodic synth adds a colourful layer, taking us to the final act. Top-notch stuff that is not to be missed.

Never There takes us on a deeper exploration of progressive grooves. Fluid rhythms mesmerize as a result of vivacious percussions. A powerful kick drum, with a bass laden tail, drives the groove beautifully alongside a warm offset bass. The bones of the track are held within the layers of synths, combining striking plucks, warm chords and hypnotic arps. A masterful slice that will not disappoint.
