New Jersey's own Vega Records storm into the new year with another first-class release featuring the talents of two of the scene's biggest names.
Seminal singer, songwriter, producer and DJ Ultra Nate teams with Grammy Award-winning producer Louie Vega for Twisted (Got Me Goin Round), a beautiful, heart-felt vocal track of the highest quality which is already picking up support from some of the house community's biggest names.
Twisted features an irresistible bass line, subtle effects and the inimitable voice of Ultra Nate, culminating in a DEEP track that has Louie Vega's unmistakable production talents stamped all over it. Having already appeared on Louie Vega's critically acclaimed In The House compilation last year, 'Twisted (Got Me Goin' Round) now gets a full release on Vega featuring both the Main Mix and Instrumental Mix.
Both producer and vocalist need little introduction. Since bursting onto the world stage in the late 1980s with It's Over Now (remixed by none other than Tony Humphries) Ultra Nate has gone onto release dozens of modern day classics on some of the most defining labels in house music including Strictly Rhythm, AM:PM, Feel The Rhythm, Vendetta, Hed Kandi and Tommy Boy and worked with the liked of Blaze, Mood II Swing, Armand Van Helden and Full Intention. She remains one of the most respected and successful figures in world music - recently releasing her fifth studio album Grime, Silk & Thunder to critical acclaim - and now, with the release of Twisted (Got Me Goin' Round) on Vega Records, she continues to lead from the front.
Likewise, Louie Vega is one of the most respected figures on the international House music scene and a tireless ambassador for the development and innovation of the genre. Having set the benchmark producing solo, alongside Kenny Dope as Masters At Work and with Anane, Luisito Quintero and Raul Midon as Elements Of Life, the Grammy Award winner is in a class all his own and Twisted (Got Me Goin' Round') is just the latest example of his production talents.
