Blur Records is proud to present the debut of Pretoria based DJ and producer - Trust SA - and his EP entitled "Silhouette".
The first track, which bears the same name, is a masterful composition, filled with intricate percussive grooves and a driving vocal that works in brilliant juxtaposition to the well-arranged chords.
Next is "With or Without You (Hans)" a laid-back but powerfully intense track, filled with an underlying percussion and a mysterious stab bass. It progresses over a propulsive driving synth reaching a quiet yet serious drop.
The third track named "Mind Your Step", surprises immediately with its tingling and provocative drums. The background noise fx's, with the subtle vox, give it a deeper nature, which is perfect for that late afternoon sunset set.
Closing the release is "Elevation" with its quirky and lofi groove, light drums, and evolving chord progressions. Smooth, irresistible, and cleverly well accomplished.
A gratifyingly intricate EP that guarantees another solid release from the label.
