The latest release from Nikko.Z's Dopamine White welcomes Cosmique to the label for his debut EP. Hailing from the UK but now based in Thailand, Cosmique has a long history as a DJ, playing alongside Danny Howells, Desyn Masiello, Tom Middleton and Robert Babicz at some of London's premiere venues, such as Nuestra Casa and Turnmills. As an up and coming producer his progressive sound has most recently found its way onto Elastic Dimension and 200db Records. Now stepping up for his first appearance on Dopamine White, Cosmique presents his ‘Fall of Man' EP.

Beginning with the title track Cosmique presents a nostalgic blend of melody and groove. Warm beats and a fluid low end power the foundation while vibrant arps and effervescent effects provide colour and texture leading into the break. Tastefully hypnotic, the centrepiece melts down to a cosmic sizzle, as the beats drop and the framework rebuilds itself for a melodic finale.

The companion piece ‘Jupiter' shifts the mood with darker electronics and a punchier groove. Setting a dramatic tone from the outset, acid-like lines and astral arps flow through the framework, before icy pads descend over a cavernous interlude, perfectly setting up a cosmic conclusion. It rounds out two excellent productions from Cosmique who makes an impressive Dopamine White debut.
