Coming from outer space, 'Planet 4' lands on Earth to remind us the solid foundations of what analog music is. Commanding the spacecraft, Soulrack guides listeners into an astonishing two-track EP with a previous pit stop through the Studer master tape recorder from the end of 80s.

Beside his work as producer with great stuff on top labels, Soulrack is a DIY A-Class gear builder. Part of this awesome gear can be hear for on title cut 'Planet 4' where the acid lead comes from his very own RE-303 which is an exact clone of the infamous Roland-303. Apart from the acid lead, a robotic voice and enormous reverb on the clap refills set an astral mood to the cut.

Next up, 'Cyclone' closes this brilliant work with an analog perc pattern that infuses a swinged groove that goes extremely well with the filtered dub chords and the funky arpeggiated bassline.
