Pole Position Recordings is proud to present Black Magic Disco with his latest release 'Downtown'.
Influenced by the Minneapolis Funk and New Wave sounds of the 80s, Black Magic Disco's 'Downtown' is a funk fuelled, Nu Disco workout. Snappy drums, punchy boogie bass, layers of cheeky synth horns fused with live guitar and vocoded vocals combine to produce a seriously dance floor friendly track. 'First Avenue' with it's bright piano chords, hypnotically catchy synths and funky bassline walks the line between the house and Nu Disco sound.
'Downtown' gets the remix treatment by the ever impressive Satin Jackets who brings his usual trademark warm Disco edge to his remix, before Odahl delivers a big, funky synth workout. CRAM rounds off the release by giving 'Downtown' a very slick, deeper house vibe.
