Andy Brookes is a music producer, DJ and songwriter from Birmingham, UK .
He started his music career songwriting and playing lead guitar in Indie Rock bands - including his band Subkicks who toured the U.K. and Japan and released two studio albums.
A change of scenery bought Andy to Bologna, Italy, where he started writing and producing with Local artists. The results of these sessions bought him and his band "The Love Mods" to the attention of Legendary Italian record label - Irma Records
A music production career opportunity took him to Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates, Where he continues to work with local and international artists from a multitude of genres.
The Love Mods is his collaborative and creative outlet for his original music which mixes elements of Indie, house, disco and Electronica. He will be releasing more new music soon on Irma records, including the song “Mysify” which is a collaboration with Irish singer Emma Cotter.
