Scatcity are renowned for producing serious melodic collections and their tenth release certainly doesn’t disappoint as Spanish producer Yamil offers up his Woodhouse EP. Label head Skatman also makes an appearance alongside Ivory, both of which on remix duty.
The title track welcomes you in, carried by deep rumbling drums than roll along as foundations to warming pad swells and echoing toplines. ‘Running Over Me’ follows, lowering the tempo with an ethereal vocal that grips you from the off, building as a concontion of stunning synths and marching percussion.
Skatman offers up a darker take with dominating reverb soaked synths darting over a pulsating bed of kicks and bass. Ivory then closes the show with rich chords jittering around a more minimalistic vocal offering.
