Amalgama relaunches and rebrands the label as Amalgama Music. After a decade hiatus, they are still concentrated on some boundary pushing bass and dance music. First up is one of Spain's most talented producers, Jailed Jamie. Known more for his Skygaze moniker, Jailed Jamie is his straight up dance floor outfit that attacks the listener/dance floor with infectious melodies, heavy low end, and breaks for days. This release for Amalgama Music, is the first of a two-part series called "Caged Breaks."

His first release under this moniker was "Rave Tool" on Breaking Bass Records was released in cassette format and it was an instant dance floor classic. In this release he concentrates on the same feel but takes a more melodic approach that keeps the dance floor engaged with the beats but the melodies flow like a breezy Fall day. When asked to explain this 2 part series, he said " I wanted to keep on the vibe from Rave Tool but here I wanted to provide classic breaks, thick atmospherics, proper UK Hardcore Stabs, heavy bass, and some new elements that make this Caged Breaks unique compared to what I have done before."
