Paradise is the perfect amalgamation of slick sexy electronica, rich classic house drums and organic Latin percussion. A sense of tense mystery evokes an eerie, yet enchanting atmosphere as the track begins....Then when the bass line drops with only the 808 kick behind it, you arrive in a safe and comfortable place. The rhythm builds, intensifies and the groove is solidified.
Think underground cavernous spaces, a dance floor enraptured with this infectious rhythm and the crowd united in the groove. The vocals come from 8 Bit Society member, Elizabeth Ajao. Sung with attitude and sass, her voice fits pertly in the arrangement, and the production cleverly uses snippets and samples of her melodies throughout the track, enriching the mood and delivery of the vocal performance. When the breakdown hits, the space created is intense and unnerving. The vocal chops and dances around the speakers as the bass line builds the vocal spinning almost out of control, intensifying the drop, before demanding you get stuck straight back in to the dance.

The Club Mix is a stripped back rolling journey, predominantly beats and bass with less atmospherics, focusing on the rhythm, with the glitch infused drum pattern making this a dirtier dance floor filler. The breakdown is a little more intense and won't leave a single person standing still in the club.

Black/White & Kane Lane (Nervous Records, Purple Tea) deliver a proper Big Room Club banger with their take on Paradise. Straight up beats with a soulful summery piano sample compliment the re-jigged vocal beautifully and the breakdown/drop absolutely explodes through the speakers, guaranteed to destroy any dance floor world-wide.

Lastly, Fennec (Figures Of Eighty) offer a bit-crushed edgy alternative mix perfect for the bass heads out there. Expect wonky edits with maxed out glitchy drums, reverberated vocal snippets and a kick drum to keep you nodding your head from beginning to end!
