Tanera is the house project of Scottish techno legend, Gary Beck. The original version of Magic Underwear came out in 2017 and was played by the likes of Felix Da Housecat, Hi-Fi Sean, Eats Everything & Marco Carola.

Its a big favourite of ours and we love its looping, almost Moroder-ish groove topped with the rough NY/NJ jazzy chord stabs. For us, it's like a cross between the Riva Starr Paradise Garage mix that Defected re-issued recently and Floorplan's stomping gospel-tech. If you missed it first time round, you can grab it here.

For Kevin McKay's remix, he took the killer vocals, stripped out the NY energy and went for a Chicago/Detroit synth hook groove.
