After almost 20 years of club business and countless nights of dancing under mirror balls, Luna Club, which is based in Kiel, brings together a selection of music from friends and family, to make up for the financial losses due to the ongoing Covid-19 situation. The whole compilation features songs from artists like Monkey Safari, Till von Sein and many more and it will be released in parts with 4-5 tracks on each output. Starting off the bunch of releases under the name “Save the Night”, the 4-track Ep titled “Moments” refers to those times where we would dance through friday nights. The first track “Rom” by Monkey Safari puts you in a foggy afterhour vibe around 6 am. A relentlessly playing guitarloop and trippy vocals are playing over a minimalistic drumset. ”Midnight Sun” is track #2. A dramatic masterpiece brought to us by the duo Avidus, providing their signature mix of carefully selected percussion elements, haunting melodies and goosebumps. Philipp Harms takes care of track number 3 and melts a harmonic synthesizer jam with a broken beat which takes you on a journey through your deepest dream states. Last but not least Rauschhaus finishes off the EP with a progressive house banger. “Leucosia” is a 7 and a half minute journey designed to drive dancefloors into a state of ecstasy.
