LOKD010 has arrived, this time by one of our very own label heads and good friends, AVEM.
Representing our hometown Basel over the last years, this time Boris is drawing inspiration from the past. Deeply influenced by both disco hits aswell as 90's house and techno, he has created his own new interpretation rooted in the golden era of electronic beginnings. The artwork for the EP mirrors this nostalgic perspective, being composed of footage from concerts of this father, back in 1985.
Disco Days is accompanied with remixes from our dear friends Yolanda Frei and Oberst and Buchner, who we have specially selected to bring their well known musical twist, which has made them stand-out in our scene for a long time.
Even though it took some time, we are very happy to finally release AVEM's first EP in his very own home, LOKD.
