With his ear to the groove since the age of 15, Sameer started spinning house, techno, club, hip hop and other genres of music depending on the occasion. Professionally DJing for Nearly 30 years, Sameer has brought his custom blend of funky tech deep and soulful sounds to dance floors around the globe. He has played alongside some of the world's best known DJ's such as Danny Tenaglia, Todd Terry, Louie Vega, Doc Martin and many others.

The Retreat EP is a return to self and return to nature response to the Pandemic. DJ Sameer returns to the quiet and solitude of his studio to create his signature heavy house beats with more organic earthy sounds and instrumentation on "Return to the Rainforest" main mix with flute and vocals and the Sunshower Mix with a steady more driving electronic sound. "Believe" (Retreat Mix) features some meditative words over a heavy driving house groove.
