Balance Music welcome back the Georgian production duo of siblings Michael & Levan. Earlier this year they impressively collaborated with Croatian artist Stiven Rivic on a stunning two track EP for the label. This time around, they return with two more slices of high quality productions that sit on the right side of moody house and techno.

After an elegant introduction, ‘Eye Candy' builds the drama with minimal drums that is sprinkled with soft percussion. A hypnotic synth glues everything together, subtly introducing a bright lead which hangs over everything like a comet. The breakdown builds beautifully into a bridge which expertly ramps the tension into a final breakdown. Once the track is in flow again, it is evident that catharsis has been achieved.

On ‘Portal' we are transported to a cerebral world filled with sterner beats and delicate flourishes that is a testament to Michael & Levan's studio prowess. The considerable bass should suck in anyone within 10 kilometres as it thumps it's way to a highly engaging breakdown. Once the drop happens, prepare yourself for an influx of punters who wants to know the name of the track.
