Up next is a compilation celebrating the incredible flourishing of disco producers from Italy. It’s also the opening entry for an exciting series of albums planned to showcase the many different disco scenes currently flourishing all over the globe.

Over the last couple of years Italy has seen an explosion in the number of top class talent emanating from its Mediterranean peninsula and going on to have head turning success. With the compilation fittingly titled ‘La Famiglia’ it is indeed a close knit community of artists behind this out-pouring of excellence.

Comprising 10 tracks the album covers all points disco from deep jazzy moments, through synth infused groove, energy packed afro-disco, heavy soul and string laden goodness. It’s brimming with the finest of dancefloor cuts.

There are star appearances from some of the true stand outs of the current Italian scene including Musta, Paul Older, Lup Ino, Frank Vigilio and Di Saronno in his Mindbuster guise collaborating here with Funkatron. Tropical Disco Records co-owner Sartorial also joins in proceedings celebrating his own Italian heritage.

Completing this incredibly talented line up are Italian stalwart Rio Soldierman, the mysterious Mama Drop, powerhouse duo Sacci and Durrante and hot newcomers Nicola Nisi & Loris Altafini.
