Alpha Drive are no strangers to the electronica music scene. Having produced three LPs for Plastic Fantastic and one to Sentient Records, and having been on such reputable compilations as Sonic III on EMI Music, Sander Kleinenberg's 'This Is Everybody' on Renaissance, DJ World Series: Progressive from Israel on DJ Magazine, Pacha Ibiza: The Winter Sessions on Bit Music, Tom Stephan's Nite:Life 018, with many others, they have become a staple of proper house diet for years now. If this is not enough, they are without question some of the biggest songwriters/composers/producers in Canada and Brazil, and they have worked with pop stars like Enrique Iglesias, Cher, Timbaland and many more. These two tracks here are on the label show the Alpha Drive sound at their finest. 'Passing Moment' is a mellowed out smooth prog affair with lovely hints of a vocal, stabbing in and out around the breakdown, finishing off with a class-act baseline, while 'Go Sweat' has a very hypnotic bell sound that takes things down towards the end. This is really just a taste of what is to come, and mark our words - the Alpha Drive will be in full force for 2007.
