EARLY GLOBAL SUPPORT FROM David Harness, Hec Romero, Mijangos, Michele Chiavarini, Marques Wyatt, Ian Friday, Kenny Carpenter, Inaky Garcia, Jask, Brutha Basil, Sean Ali, Michael Fossati (Spiritofhouse - Pick of the Week!) and many more....

2020 has been an absolutely insane, surreal year! As fate would have it MoreHouse has been on a bit of a roll throughout this bizarre moment in our culture's time with a string of #1 songs. It's our sincere hope that the music has provided a pleasant diversion for those who have tuned in during these challenging times! MUSIC is def THE ANSWER!! With that being said, lets keep it going!

Production duo Groove Junkies & Reelsoul (aka Groove N' Soul) team up with songstress extraordinaire Nichelle Monroe for their 3rd collaboration ('Harvest For The World,''My Truth') on a sun drenched, afro-tinged cover of the Eagles 1979 Hit 'I Can't Tell You Why.' The trio have once again put their own unique spin on an iconic tune - this time taking a Pop ballad and turning it into a sultry House affair. Groove Junkies deft drum programming lays a sturdy foundation which keeps you engaged from the opening beat. Reelsoul's lush keys and arrangement stay true to the original and serve as the perfect backdrop for Nichelle's silky smooth vocals. Victor San Pedro's tasty guitar not only pays homage to the Eagles, but also mirrors Nichelle's George Benson-esque ad-lib scat on the vamp. Add a few tasty sax & flute licks from the incomparable Katisse Buckingham and voila - the end result is a mouth-watering souffle of summery soulfulness.

This song basically spells it out in the chorus: 'Every time I try to walk away, something makes me turn around and stay, and I can't tell you why.' It's about a relationship on the rocks - the couple's arguing intensifies almost to the point of them breaking up one night. The song has no real conclusion and leaves the listener with an intentional melancholy, however Nichelle does take creative license and leans lyrically toward a hopeful outcome. We couldn't be happier with the end result and hope that you like it as much as we do. ENJOY!
