Circus EP PT2

Elleot

Do Not Sleep

Hot on the heels of PT1 of Elleot's excellent Circus EP is Part two which features the fast rising talents of Mehlor and Andrew Azara.

The first track on this part of the release is Elleot's original track, Funkin, and this sets the tone for this part of the EP. With his booty shaking groove, of guitar licks, keys and grooving bass all blended into a minimal disco vibe this will inject energy into the underground scene that's gone for a more stripped and deep minimal vibe.

The second track on this EP is the remix of Funkin from Mehlor. With massive recent releases on labels such as Hedzup, Talman, PIV, Ladeep and Rendr, Mehlor is a name that's rising fast and far. The young Englishman has given Funkin a deep funk twist. He strips back on the guitars and keys yet keeps the funkin flavor using a bouncing bassline, crafting soaring pads for atmosphere and perfectly executed minimal background fillers that will ignite many a set this year and beyond.

The last track on the EP is a collaboration between Elleot and Irelands Andrew Azara. Azara's previous tracks on labels such as Rendr, Domus LTD, Rawsum and others have gained him support and recognition from names like Eats Everything, Josh Butler, Dennis Ferrer, ANOTR, Dimmish, Luca Donzelli, Chris Stussy and more. Their collaboration, Waltzer is a bouncing deep minimal affair. With driving hats giving this its energy, the pads keeping it fresh for summer, and intricately positioned fills makes this a killer groove to finish off an already excellent EP.

This second part of the Circus EP is a dance floor essential for injecting energy and smiles to the room and a release not to me missed from the yet again on point Do Not Sleep label.
