Jay Ward is from Birmingham and has been into beats and bass since the age of 11 which is when he got his first pair of decks and started buying records, as the years went by and moving through different styles such as DnB, House, Trance, Dubstep and Garage he built up a knowledge of how electronic music works and put his hand to producing, for many years he produced DnB and dubstep under the name 'Krease' - as his music tastes changed and he started buying old school garage records his love for the sound grew and he set out at producing that classic sound that he loved. His Garage House productions have been featured on labels such as Point Blank, Pogo House, rhythm vibe to name a few
He describes his sound as a mixture of the best bits from various genres, if its got a good vibe its going to inspire me to create something - luckily ive got a fair few years of listening behind me to draw for the right sounds!
