Hailing from South-Africa, Pretorian House taster a.k.a. Shuttleworth joins Bump Cut family with an amazing two-track EP. The young DJ and producer is one of those one-to-watch producers due to his constant releases that are having the great support of the Tech-House community. He’s developing an unique and recognizable sound as we can see on all of his releases on cool labels such as Huambo or Hiriko. A great wagon that continues growing daily. Regarding to his BumpCut debut, title cut ‘Let Me Holla’ opens with a groovy broken beat that clearly shows Shuttleworth’s roots. A ‘hip-hop’ chopped vocal is added on breakdowns to bring some madness to the crowd. Next up, ‘Since Sliced Bread’ follows previous Hip-House formula with subtle details like the tuned cowbell or the effective LFO swipe ups.
