We give gratitude bringing you the sounds of AfroNerd & DeepQuestic featuring Yolanda Fyrus - Mamelani.
Bringing the sound of today and tomorrow with pulsating bass lines and strings, the distinctive drum roll build up taking you into a flight of music heightened by the beautiful vocals that sit divinely on the track.

Mamelani - Which means to Listen.
A song about the lost traditions, cultures and heritage of the Xhosa tribe and nation.
Phalo ka Tshiwo was a paramount chief of the Xhosa nation from 1736 until his death in 1775.
Phalo was the second son of Tshiwo but his older brother Gwali was from a junior wife and Phalo was in line for the throne. Tshiwo died the same year of Phalo's birth so his uncle Mdange took over the reins as regent. Gwali joined forces with Ntinde, chief of the AmaNtinde clan, to overthrow Phalo but was not successful.
