AK/DK's new single 'Shared Particles' is taken from their new album of the same name, due to be released at the end of August. Their trademark pounding bass riffs take centre stage in this epic, cosmic exploration of the interstellar connections that ultimately bond us all together. Soaring synth arpeggios and delays wind around the post-punk core of this banger. Bringing the infectious energy of their renowned live shows to record, everyone is invited to their joyous, defiant and inclusive four-minute party. With a remix from WH Lung, you can expect an equally dirty, dancefloor reworking from the Manchester synthpop krautrockers.

Ed and G from AK/DK had these thoughts on the song's lyrics:
"The song is a really about an idea of unity and empathy; whatever our differences, we all came from the same cosmic-cocktail of particles millions of years ago, and how today despite our political and now physical separation, we all share that universal thing in common".

Brighton's double drum duo return with their raucous synths in hand for a third instalment of energy packed noise on their album release 'Shared Particles' due for release on August 28th 2020 via their own imprint Little Miss Echo Recordings. This new offering delivers all the high energy, motorik drums and psychedelic synthesisers that the band have become so well known for.

Since their last release; 'Patterns / Harmonics' (Album Of The Day BBC 6Music), AK/DK have been busy playing festivals around the UK, and Europe. With triumphant performances at MIF, Blue Dot, DeerShed, ArcTanGent and The Great Escape. Last year's festival season was rounded off nicely at End Of The Road's coveted secret show with a ridiculously exciting, live onstage collaboration with fellow noise makers Snapped Ankles. They also squeezed in a tour of Brazil and Argentina; collaborating with local artists they created a bespoke live show blending their chaotic synth sounds with indigenous rhythms, percussion and vocals.
