We are excited to present to you an amazing artist called Miikka Hasari aka drS from Finland who debuts on our label with this very eclectic, electronic work of art called Elektropical Underground. This is not your regular Afro House sound you are used to hear.. but something very electronically influenced, stemming from the techno and progressive world.

drS has been an integral part of the Finnish underground scene for 20 years now. During this time he has absorbed a broad spectrum of influences, ranging from deep and laidback vibes to gritty rave euphoria. Currently he is mostly at home creating hypnotic and psychedelic varieties of house and techno; - a fusion between moody darkness and uplifting energy. He also is known for his eclectic DJ sets within the Finnish SWÄG and Aamu DJ collectives.

The EP features 3 very different composed Afro House tracks and is a real gem for music connoisseurs and a great addition to any well sorted and ambitious Afro House collection.

All tracks are deep and feature driving pumping kicks accompanied by multiple percussive elements and driving HH's that give these songs their groove. Mesmerizing deep synth basslines as well as progressive and carrying synth melodies with different instruments such as deep organ, flutes, horns, synths and various other organic elements are put in place.

Often disharmonic to fully engage the crowd to a peak where the harmonious resolution of the built up tension is released, with beautiful and engaging twists and turns.

This masterful work of a 3 track EP is definitely not for the easy listener.. it is music that is demanding for your audience but all 3 tracks together definitely present something completely new and fresh in todays Afro House music.
